Tried to do my assignment
Couldn't get anything done
Just when I think I've found inspiration
It turns tail and runs
Tried to come up with something
But my attempts all fail
My brain seems to be running
At the pace of a snail
I guess I'll turn it what I've got
A song about a whole lot of nothin'
I know it ain't much
But at least it's somethin'

Okay, well I had to write this for my English class. So I figured, why not put it here too?
The assignment was to write a 3+ stanza blues song, though it seems more like a blues poem to me because of how short it is. It has the same rhythm as a blues song, but it's not really long enough to be considered a song in my book.
